The Vision
Bill and Vonette Bright started Campus Crusade in 1951 with the vision to “win the campus today to change the world tomorrow.”
Why focus on today’s students? Globally, the number of college students has roughly doubled from 60 million to 130 million in the past 15 years. Governments of developing countries have realized that their future depends upon a well-educated population who can compete in today’s borderless global economy.
In addition to their potential for leadership and influence, college students are often at a unique point in their lives where they are remarkably open to considering spiritual truth.
My current ministry is with the Global Student-Led Movements team. The GSLM team is charged with finding creative ways – both in person and online – to sow the gospel broadly, filter well, identify God’s leaders, and make Christ-centered multiplying disciples who will graduate and follow Jesus passionately into the marketplace or the mission field. We also provide oversight and coaching to CCC’s campus ministries around the world.
I serve as the assistant to CCC’s Vice President of Global Student-Led Movements– coordinating international communication, handling all kinds of administrative details, and working on special projects to move the mission forward.
